Milwaukee beats the Cubs, 4-3

The Milwaukee Brewers came into today’s action looking to put on a better showing than they did the previous evening when the Cubs shellacked them. The Brewers were successful in that endeavor, as they beat Chicago 4-3.

Freddy Peralta and Adbert Alzolay got the starts on the mound, which was the third time this season they have face each other. Both pitched reasonably well, but neither went deep into the game.

The Cubs scored the first two runs of the game. In the bottom of the second, Matt Duffy led it off with a single to right.
