Luis Urias takes live batting practice for first time since hamate injury

Luis Urias is quickly closing in on a return to the Milwaukee Brewers’ lineup. As most of you know, Urias was slated to miss 6-8 weeks with a broken left hamate. Whether he will be in the Opening Day lineup is still unclear, but he did face live pitching for the first time yesterday off David Phelps.

Luis Urías, coming back from surgery for a broken hamate, has been cleared to hit live pitching. First guy he faced was David Phelps. Urías is hoping to start playing games by the end of the week.

As McCalvy mentioned, Urias hopes to be back in the lineup later this week.
