Milwaukee placed starter Jose Quintana on the IL this morning with a left shoulder impingement. The veteran lefty, who sports a 2.65 ERA through six starts with the Brewers, had apparently developed “shoulder discomfort” before his last start against the Tampa Bay Rays. In a corresponding move, Milwaukee will recall the recently-optioned Tobias Myers to take his spot in the rotation.
