When Brewers’ starter Jacob Misiorowski was named an All-Star last week, it came as a shock to everyone. He had made just five starts in the majors. However, what he has done in that time was incredible. He pitched 11 no-hit innings before giving up his first hit at the end of his second start. He carried a perfect game into the seventh inning of his second start. He outdueled Paul Skenes and Clayton Kershaw. All of that resulted in him being named an All-Star as a replacement on the National League team.
To say that his selection was unprecedented is an understatement.
