Spring Training is getting closer. We’ve made it to February, and now it’s just a matter of days before players start showing up in Arizona for the start of the upcoming season. Before that, the Brewers have to get all of their equipment down to Arizona. That day came today, as it is officially Truck Day in Milwaukee.
A sign of spring: It's Truck Day in Milwaukee. 20,500 baseballs, 1,000 bats, 200 batting helmets, 2,000 shirts, 250 batting gloves, 400 BP jerseys, 200 game jerseys, 300 pants, 500 pairs of socks AND Bob Uecker’s radio booth chair and mic are headed to Phoenix.
