Houser’s one mistake the difference as the Twins beat the Brewers 4-2

The Milwaukee Brewers and Minnesota Twins met at Miller Park tonight. The good news in this one was that Brewers’ pitching was outstanding for eight innings. Unfortunately one bad inning, one bad pitch really, was the deciding factor.

Adrian Houser got the start tonight for the Brewers. When his night was over, he covered five innings, scattering six hits. For most of his time on the mound, he was good. The top of the third inning got him though.

In the top of the third, Alex Avila led off with a single. That was followed by a check-swing hit by Max Kepler that trickled towards third base just opposite the defensive shift.
