For more than 38 years, the franchise record for most consecutive wins stood strong at 13, set by the 1987 Brewers in their first 13 games of the season. But now, behind the efforts of Pat Murphy's scrappy group of ballplayers, that record has been broken, and the way it happened couldn't have been more fitting for a team that has won 14 straight in the most incredible way possible.
