With the annual amateur draft now come and gone, MLB Pipeline has updated their top prospects lists to reflect the new influx of talent into affiliated baseball. For the Milwaukee Brewers, this means that they finally have a prospect gracing the Pipeline top-100 ranking, with first round draftee Garrett Mitchell slotting in at #69 overall. Of the 20th overall selection, the Pipeline scouts write:
Mitchell has made real strides with his left-handed swing, one of the concerns when he was coming out of high school. He hit consistently for the first time in 2019 and he was doing it again during his junior season.
