Regardless of what the Milwaukee Brewers chose to do, or not do, yesterday, the 2025 MLB Trade Deadline was, in general, an exciting one. The San Diego Padres and their fearless president of baseball operations, A.J. Preller, emptied out their farm system to significantly bolster their 2025 squad, Carlos Correa reunited with his former team, the Houston Astros, and several teams traded top prospects for elite controllable relief pitching. According to MLB.com, an incredible 50 trades were executed in the final 31 hours prior to Thursday's deadline.
Among those 50 trades were several that included former Brewers, which is less crazy given the amount of roster turnover that the Brewers have had over the last several seasons.
