Back in April, the Milwaukee Brewers signed Dee Strange-Gordon to a minor league contract. In his time with the Nashville Sounds, Strange-Gordon did nothing but excel offensively. His slash line was .333/.378/.500 across 45 plate appearances.
Even with the strong stat line, the Brewers and Strange-Gordon parted ways as the Brewers’ front office announced the speedster’s release. This is Strange-Gordon’s second release from a minor league contract this season. Cincinnati signed him over the winter only to release him at the end of Spring Training.
