Nashville — Reports have surfaced that the Milwaukee Brewers' much-rumored deal sending first baseman Adam Lind to Seattle has been agreed upon by the two teams.
There has been no confirmation yet by either side but early indications are that the Brewers will receive two lower-level prospects from the Mariners, meaning they would not be on the 40-man roster. That makes sense because Seattle's farm system is thin near the top and most of their regarded prospects are at lower levels.
The Brewers know they won't be a contender next year as they embark on a massive rebuilding plan so it makes sense they'd rather take better talent from lower levels than fringe prospects higher up.
