Corbin Burnes is on fire. He made his fourth start of the season tonight, and his dominance continued. In six innings pitched, he recorded another ten strikeouts, bringing his season total up to 40. Not only is his strikeout total high, but his walk total is non-existent. He has not allowed a single walk this season through four starts. It’s the first time that has happened in an MLB season. Not only that, despite allowing four hits in the game, he put up another scoreless start. That drops his ERA to 0.37 on the season.
While Corbin Burnes pitched well again, the Brewers offense backed him up to make sure it wouldn’t go to waste.
