Brewers score a lot of runs against the Cardinals as they win 18-3

The Milwaukee Brewers took it to the St. Louis Cardinals tonight, and they did it with the Cardinal’s ace, Jack Flaherty, pitching against them. In fact, Flaherty came into tonight’s play with a 3.08 ERA. When his night was over, his ERA was 5.52.

The Cardinals did get on the board first in the top of the first. Tommy Edman led the inning off with a single, and Paul Goldschmidt drove him in with a double. Brett Anderson would give up one more run in the fifth, but that would be it as he covered six innings.

Milwaukee was off and running in the bottom of the first, and it all got going when the 2018 MVP.
