AAA Nashville
The Sounds took four of six against the Gwinnett Stripers to improve to 43-28 on the season, taking a 2.5-game lead over Columbus (41-31) and Memphis (41-31) in the International League West standings.
Former top prospect Corey Ray led the way offensively for the Sounds, slashing .421/.450/.947 with two homers and six RBIs on the week. Catcher Mario Feliciano also slashed .353/.353/.705 with two homers and five RBIs himself.
