Brewers drop third straight spring game, 6-4 to Angels

The Brewers put together a valiant effort this afternoon to get their second win of the spring. They had an early lead, but it was erased quickly and the Brewers were behind after two innings. They couldn’t overcome the deficit and ended up losing 6-4 to the Angels.

The Brewers started quickly, getting a triple from Sal Frelick in the first. He came in to score on a Wily Adames RBI single, and the Brewers had an early 1-0 lead. The Angels responded right away. They got a leadoff double from Taylor Ward off of Janson Junk, then brought him in with a groundout and a sacrifice fly.
