Brandon Woodruff to start on Opening Day for the Brewers, Corbin Burnes will pitch game two

Barring any setbacks in Spring Training, it is official. We know you will start on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers on Opening Day. We also know who will get the ball for game two of the 2021 season.

Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell announced Brandon Woodruff as the Opening Day starter. In fact, Woodruff will be the first Brewer to be the Opening Day starter two years in a row since Yovani Gallardo. Gallardo had the honor in five consecutive seasons.

Brandon Woodruff is the first Brewers pitcher to get consecutive opening day starts since Yovani Gallardo started five in a row from 2010-14.
