Anderson uses full repertoire in 1st rehab start

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -- Brewers starter Chase Anderson, who is on the 10-day disabled list recovering from a left oblique strain, made his first rehab start with the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday night.

While he was credited with the loss against Cedar Rapids, allowing one earned run on two hits and a walk in 3 1/3 innings, Anderson believed the start was a step in the right direction.

"I felt great. It went good," Anderson said. "I tried to throw strikes. That was my main goal. Just to see how my stuff played against hitters.
