While the Milwaukee Brewers are still locked in a postseason battle with the Los Angeles Dodgers, most of the rest of the players and teams around baseball are already looking ahead to the winter months. MLB’s offseason doesn’t really start in earnest until the World Series, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any transactions already going on:
As an outrighted player w/enough service time, RHP Alec Asher elected minor league free agency now rather than shortly after World Series (h/t @YouKnowAndThat). Asher, just-turned 27, tossed 3 scoreless innings for #Brewers in two outings, now waiting for that World Series ring.
