I want to start this player review with a confession: I didn’t want the Milwaukee Brewers to sign Mike Moustakas in the offseason. My assumption was the Travis Shaw would be as good a player for a cheaper contract and that Keston Hiura would come up and take over at second, and the crowd would cause a disaster. I didn’t hate the idea, but I didn’t think it was a necessary move. Well, David Stearns and the Milwaukee Brewers made me a look like a chump.
