Middlesbrough's Patrick Bamford stretchered off wearing a neck brace against Bristol City after colliding with Aden Flint in aerial challenge

Middlesbrough forward Patrick Bamford was stretchered off in a neck brace on Saturday afternoon after a collision with Bristol City's Aden Flint.

City traveled to the Riverside Stadium desperate for a victory hoping to keep their hopes of making this year's Championship play-offs alive, while a win would move Boro into the top six.

The game was tied at 1-1 after Milan Djuric 13th-minute strike was cancelled out by Boro's George Friend.
