Middlesbrough set to field both their youngest and oldest players ever in the same match

Middlesbrough are set to make history in their FA Cup third-round tie against Peterborough on Saturday – by fielding both their youngest ever player and their oldest ever player at the same time.

Sixteen-year-old defender Nathan Wood is set to play in the match at the Riverside, while 40-year-old goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos will also feature.

Boro boss Tony Pulis urged supporters to turn out and see the 'amazing situation' for themselves because 'it will never happen again'.
