Luton are considering a £5m bid for Wolves youngster Ryan Giles, with Middlesbrough also keen after the 23-year-old impressed on loan for Michael Carrick's side last season

Luton are weighing up a £5million bid for Ryan Giles with Middlesbrough also interested in the Wolves academy product.

Giles impressed on loan at Boro last season, helping Michael Carrick’s side reach the Championship play-offs, and has now attracted the attention of newly-promoted Luton.

Hatters boss Rob Edwards knows Giles well from his time working as a coach within the Wolves system, where Giles learned his trade.

Last season’s spell at Boro was Giles’ seventh since he turned professional five years ago and he has made just one appearance for the Wolves first team, an FA Cup tie at Shrewsbury in January 2019.
