Jordan Rhodes made a young Middlesbrough fan's day by replying to his letter with a heart-warming message.
Rhodes departed Middlesbrough for Sheffield Wednesday in January and explained his reasons to Oliver, a Boro and Rhodes fan.
In a touching note, Rhodes spoke about his frustration at not playing as often as he'd like and wished Oliver well at school and on the pitch.
Oliver's mum took to Twitter and thanked Rhodes for his response, saying her son was 'over the moon'.
