Emilio Nsue alleges the Equatoguinean FA 'embezzled more than £850,000 of bonuses' during the Africa Cup of Nations after the tournament's top scorer was suspended indefinitely for 'gross misconduct'

Emilio Nsue has reportedly making a number of damning allegations on social media against the Equatoguinean FA after he was suspended for misconduct.

The former Middlesbrough and Birmingham star captained his side at the Africa Cup of Nations as the Ivory Coast triumphed on home soil.

Nsue started all four of Equatorial Guinea's matches at the tournament, netting a hat-trick and a brace in group stage clashes with Guinea-Bissau and the Ivory Coast respectively.

Moving on to the knockout stage as surprise leaders of Group A, Juan Micha's side would ultimately crash out of the tournament at the Round of 16 stage following a 1-0 defeat to Guinea.
