IRVING, Texas – After an undefeated week at the top of the lineup for Middle Tennessee, was honored by Conference USA as Male Tennis Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
The senior played a vital role in MT's upset of No. 62 Iowa by coming away with wins in both singles and doubles play. Zyhmantovich teamed up with to take down their opponents at No. 3 doubles, 6-4, giving the Blue Raiders an opportunity to clinch the first point in the match. In singles action, Zyhmantovich cruised in the first set, but found himself in a close second set.
