MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis player once again represented his home country of Paraguay in the Davis Cup over the weekend, where he was responsible for two of his team's five points in a shutout win.
Paraguay met Puerto Rice in the play-off round in the Americas region of Group II of this year's event, earning the victory by a score of 5-0. Zatar was atop the singles lineup, where he took down Sebastian Arcila in four sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1.
The Blue Raider was also part of the top doubles pair for Paraguay, as he and partner Diego Galeano defeated the top duo from Puerto Rico, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
