MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee received contributions throughout its lineup and had quality work from its relief corps in an 11-6 win against Fairleigh Dickinson in the opening game of the Mule Mix Classic Friday.
The Blue Raiders (4-1) remained undefeated at Reese Smith Field to start the season and will continue play in the Mule Mix with a date against Indiana State Saturday at 2 p.m.
While contributions were exceptional throughout the lineup, LA Woodard and Myles Christian were outstanding table setters at the top of the order. The electrifying duo were a combined 4-for-6 with three RBI, two runs scored, six walks and four stolen bases.
