MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee women's tennis will now have four newcomers to the 2016-17 team, as head coach has announced the signing of Marta Peris Herrero.
"Marta was very heavily recruited and we feel so fortunate that she chose us," Ramsay said. "She'll bring a wealth of experience to our program even though she will be a freshman having played juniors at such a high level."
A native of Spain, Herrero earned a ranking of No. 47 in the Spanish Women's Open Division. Her best ranking in the Spanish U-16 Division was No. 7.
