MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. to take on the Chattanooga on Saturday, January 20 at 2 p.m. CT.
MTSU is coming off a weekend where they split matches down in Starkville, Miss. In the first match, the Blue Raiders battled back from down 3-0 to win 4-3 against conference foe Jacksonville State. The next day, MTSU fell short against Mississippi 4-2.
Freshman Lena Peyer and junior Eloise Swarbrick won both of their singles matches. Swarbrick fought back from down 5-2 in the third to reach the tiebreak and would then clinch the victory for the Blue Raiders over JSU on Friday.
