MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee senior has been named the Conference USA Player of the Week following standout performances in all four games as the Blue Raiders went 4-0 last week.
Williams averaged 22.5 points and seven rebounds per game on the week while totaling eight assists, five steals and two blocks. He also converted 66.7 percent of his field goal attempts, knocking down 40-of-60 shots on the week.
The Birmingham, Ala., native averaged 24 points and 7.3 rebounds in the three-game Challenge in Music City and was named Tournament MVP after leading the four-team event in scoring and steals while finishing third in rebounds.
