Will TSSAA adopt recent Kentucky softball legislation?

Kentucky's high school sports governing body recently announced that certain softball players will be required to wear productive head gear.

In fact, the Kentucky High School Athletic Association said it will be the first state in the country to require such safety measures.

Under the guidelines, pitchers, first basemen and third basemen will be required to wear the protective head gear.

There has been some opposition regarding the new legislation, but a majority of coaches feel it is a necessity.

In fact, there has been talk about the TSSAA might enact the same rule in the near future.
