MURFERESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee placed two Blue Raiders on the postseason baseball all-conference teams, as announced Tuesday afternoon by the Conference USA office.
Peyton Wigginton was named second team all-conference as a utility player, while Josh Young was one of 12 to make the all-freshman team.
Coming into the season, Wigginton had no clue he would have as much of an impact with his bat as he did on the mound.
"It was a really fun year," the Franklin, Tennessee native said. "I always wanted to hit, and it was a really great opportunity to be able to do both.
