MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Due to wet field conditions and rain, the Blue Raider soccer team's Sunday afternoon match against North Texas has been canceled.
Roughly 30 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. scheduled kickoff, game officials determined the field conditions were too dangerous and unplayable for the teams. A rescheduled match has not been determined at this point. Please stay tuned for possible updates to the team's schedule.
Currently, UNT (6-1-1, 1-0) and the Blue Raiders (6-2-1, 1-0-1) are neck-and-neck atop the Conference USA standings, following MT's overtime victory over preseason favorite Rice last Thursday.
The Raiders next match is scheduled for Sunday, Sept.
