MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – As another academic year comes to an end, the Middle Tennessee volleyball team continues its trend of academic excellence as the team rounds off the season with a combined 3.76 GPA, at the end of the spring semester.
Four volleyball student-athletes achieved a 4.0 at the end of their spring semester including, Samira Lawson Body (Biology), Bailey Mason (Exercise Science), Brienna Tankesley (Exercise Science) and Sarah Sumida (Biology).
Meanwhile, another four Blue Raider student-athletes finished their semester in the 3.5 to 3.9 category (Regan Coughlin, Emma Grever, Taylor Hammill, Dora Peonia) while Vonnie Covington wrapped up her final semester among the 3.
