MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – For the third consecutive year, the Middle Tennessee volleyball team was selected by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as a 2019-2020 Team Academic Award recipient on Monday.
Seven Blue Raiders finished the spring semester with a 4.0 GPA and four others earned a 3.5-3.9 to round off the year with a team cumulative GPA of 3.73.
Taylor Hammill and Bri Tankesley, who were both named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team in the fall, are amongst those players who finished with a spring GPA of 4.
