DALLAS — Middle Tennessee men's golfers Markus Varjun and Thad Whitfield earned All-Conference honors, as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
Varjun, a native of Tallinn, Estonia, was tabbed Second Team All-Conference USA. The redshirt junior posted a 71.70 scoring average on the season that featured 15 rounds of par or better golf, seven rounds in the 60s, and of his 27 rounds, 26 were counted. Varjun posted seven top 20 finishes on the season, including a second-place showing at the Loyola Intercollegiate, where he posted a career-low 54-hole total of 12-under-par 204.
