MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A pair of Blue Raider returning starters have received their first preseason honors of the 2016-17 campaign as College Sports Madness announced its Preseason All-Conference USA Teams on Wednesday.
Senior forward was named to the First Team by College Sports Madness while junior guard was listed on the Second Team. Both were named Third Team All-C-USA by the conference office in 2015-16 while Upshaw was the 2016 C-USA Tournament MVP.
"Both of those guys are extremely deserving of their preseason accolades based on last year's body of work," Head Coach said.
