MTSU was experiencing a youth movement in Murfreesboro Saturday night, as the Blue Raiders edged Bowling Green 24-13, courtesy of five sophomores and four freshmen.
"For a coach, that's scary," MTSU coach Rick Stockstill said. "We played so many young people. I thought our guys stepped up. Brad (Anderson) had a really nice game back there. Jocquez (Bruce), that's the first time he's ever played running back in college. We had a lot of guys really step up and play well tonight."
