MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – A pair of Blue Raiders are on the radar of NBA teams with the draft approaching as both and have recently taken part in NBA Draft workouts.
Buford made his first visit to Boston on May 21 to work out for the Celtics, who have asked the 6-foot-6 guard/forward back for a second look on June 20.
The Decatur, Ala., native averaged 12.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in his final season as a Blue Raider while serving as the team's top shot blocker with 40 rejections. He totaled 62 blocks across his two-year career in blue, landing him in seventh all-time at Middle Tennessee.
