MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Rising senior and team leader Bri Tankesley represented Middle Tennessee in Conference USA's annual Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Meetings at the league office in Dallas, Texas, on July 25-27.
"This experience helped me grow my leadership skills by learning new methods of communication with my teammates and coaches," Tankesley said. "I was able to take away a fresh perspective on improving the life of a student-athlete as well as some great friendships with other C-USA student-athletes."
Tankesley met with a student-athlete representative from the 13 other member schools as well as two of the league's Faculty Athletic Representatives (FAR) to discuss relative topics to collegiate athletics, including mental health and personal branding.
