MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – "Like father, like son." It's a phrase that gets mentioned a lot around the Middle Tennessee football program.
Head Coach Rick Stockstill and his son, redshirt senior quarterback Brent Stockstill, share a lot of similarities on and off the football field.
Both are Division I quarterbacks with bowl game victories. Both have also been named to an All-American list in their collegiate careers. If you meet both away from the football field, you first notice their humbleness and easy-to-talk-to demeanor.
Come late September, the father-son duo will have yet another thing in common.
