MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee head coach Rick Stockstill announced today the permanent captains for the Blue Raiders in 2022.
Wide receiver Yusuf Ali, quarterback Chase Cunningham, defensive end Jordan Ferguson, wide receiver Jaylin Lane, and defensive tackle Ja'Kerrius Wyatt were honored as the 17th group of permanent captains in the FBS era at Middle Tennessee.
The team voted on the five captains, and Coach Stockstill made the announcement during a team meeting.
"This is the ultimate honor when your teammates make you a permanent captain for the season," said Stockstill.
