Stewarts Creek made football history last year by making the TSSAA state playoffs for the first time in school history.
The expectations are now set high and a legacy has been left by the first four-year class that endured some tough times before enjoying success the past two years.
The Red Hawks lost a wealth of talent, but coach David Martin is optimistic about the upcoming season.
"I don't feel like we're starting over," Martin said. "A lot of these guys played last year. A lot of seniors know it's their time, and they're ready to be leaders and get us back (to the playoffs).
