SMYRNA -- The Stewarts Creek Red Hawks broke loose for 56-32 home victory over Shelbyville Central on Friday night.
Running back T.J. Mangrum led the way for the Red Hawks as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and defensive back Alex Simmons had two interceptions for the defense.
"Coach just gave me the ball and he told us from the get-go that we were going to run the ball a lot this game," Mangrum said. "I took advantage of it and took my shots and took my chances."
On the opening series, the Red Hawks started off with a seven-play drive, where Mangrum scored on a 12-yard run to make the score 7-0.
