Stewarts Creek's baseball team will play in the school's first state title game in any sport Friday when the Red Hawks play Brentwood at MTSU at 5 p.m.
The Red Hawks had to defeat the Jefferson County Patriots twice, the team that defeated them a day earlier, 5-3 and 11-1.
"I had a feeling today that we weren't going home today," said Red Hawks senior Austin Steel. "I feel extremely confident. I love this group of guys, I love these coaches, I love these fans and I know we will have a great crowd tomorrow. I'm ready for us to make our mark in school history.
