CHARLESTON, S.C. — Owen Stamper finished the Daniel Island Intercollegiate in second place after his second straight under-par round in Tuesday's third round. The Scottsville, Ky., native carded a 217 (+1) for the tournament as Middle Tennessee tied for sixth at 894 (+30).
MTSU recorded its lowest team score of the tournament with a 293 (+5) Tuesday.
Stamper notched four birdies Tuesday to finish with 11 for the tournament.
Kevin Jegers added four birdies of his own, carding a 74 (+2) in the third round to finish in a tie for 12th at 222 (+6).
