DAVIS, Calif. – Middle Tennessee softball (1-4) picked up its first win of the season beating San Jose State 4-3 to conclude the NorCal Kickoff.
Game 1 – MTSU 2, SJSU 3
San Jose State scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first after two errors by the Blue Raider defense. MTSU threatened to answer in the top of the second after back-to-back singles but both runners were left stranded.
The Spartans added another run in the second with a one-out triple that later came in to score.
