MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – Middle Tennessee softball (4-11) split on Sunday at The Spring Games with a (7-3) win over Brown and a (1-0) loss to Siena. The Blue Raiders finished out the weekend 4-2.
Game 1 – MTSU 7, Brown 3
singled and came around to score on a RBI single from to give MTSU a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Bears answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning to tie it up going into the second frame.
MTSU regained the lead in the third inning on a two-run homerun from Tepe.
