MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee head coach Jeff Breeden announced the addition of one more newcomer to the 2017-18 softball squad in junior transfer, Samantha Valentine.
"Samantha is an impact player," said Head Coach Jeff Breeden. "She will bring much needed experience having played in big game atmospheres. She set numerous offensive records at Lake Land College and we're expecting her to come in and not only compete but also contribute immediately."
Valentine enjoyed success during her two-year stint with the Lakers, including two top-ten finishes at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament as well as being named a NJCAA All-American this past year.
