MANCHESTER, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team took to the road for a game against Motlow State at Coffee County High School last Saturday, Oct. 1. Despite being away, the Blue Raiders were the home team and earned a 9-3 victory.
The game was tight through the first five innings of action but was broken open in the bottom of sixth following a two-run home run from and a triple that scored two runs from .
Whaley also hit a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth. In the 2015 spring season, Whaley recorded six home runs.
